VFW plans ice fishing tourney
Merrill’s VFW Post 1638 will hold its second annual ice fishing tournament Feb. 2 on Lake Alexander. Ice anglers can register for the tournament either at Tom & Bev’s on Hwy. 107 or on Friday nights at the VFW Post on Cleveland Street. The tournament will kick off at 8 a.m. at Tom & Bev’s. Proceeds from the tournament will go toward the building fund for a new VFW clubhouse for Post 1638.
