Wisconsin Poet Laureate Bruce Dethlefsen will host a free discussion and poetry writing workshop on Saturday, Dec. 8 beginning at 1 p.m. at T.B. Scott Free Library in Merrill. Feel free to bring along poetry you are working on, or ideas and questions you’d like to ask the expert. On Sunday, Dec. 9 beginning at 1 p.m., enjoy Bruce reading his poetry in the library’s Community Room. Afterwards, share your own work at an Open Mic for your own original poetry. You’re invited to take part in either Saturday or Sunday or both as part of the Words Worth Hearing program at T.B. Scott Library.
