Mission Store

Christ United Methodist Church, Third & Mill streets, will host their annual Mission Store from 9 a.m. -1 p.m. on Sunday, Sept. 23, in their Community Room adjacent to the parking lot. The sale will include crafts and food items from SERRV and Ten Thousand Villages, both clearing houses which work on behalf of artisans in 36 countries. Hand carved items, candle holders, scarves, baskets, purses, toys, jewelry and Christmas decorations are just some of the items available at reasonable prices. All items are “Fair Traded.” Proceeds are returned to the artisans, thereby providing income, dignity and hope throughout the developing regions of the world.
