Mental Health Walk

The 1st Annual “Shed Some Light on Mental Health Walk” will be held on Saturday, Sept. 29, at Normal Park, Merrill, starting at 8:30 a.m. and ending at 11:30 a.m. The purpose of the walk is to bring awareness to suicide and increase awareness on mental health issues. The walk is free of charge and is sponsored by Lincoln County Suicide Prevention Task Force. Walk registration begins at 8:30 a.m. at Normal Park; preregistration is not required. The event will begin with a brief opening ceremony. After the completion of the two-mile walk, information booths by local agencies, refreshments and music will be available.
