Garden Walk 2012

North Central Wisconsin Master Gardeners will present Garden Walk 2012 on Friday, July 13 from 1-7 p.m. and Saturday, July 14 from 9 a.m.-3 p.m. The tour will include five Wausau area gardens. This year our gardens are located on Wausau’s north side. Enjoy strolling through the five local, private gardens on this year’s tour, as well as the lovely gardens at the Aspirus Hospice House. Each garden displays its owner’s unique style and is sure to give you many ideas to try in your own garden. This year’s proceeds will go to the Hospice House and Wisconsin Public Radio’s Garden Talk. Featured gardens are located at T13051 N 73rd Street, 2802 Emery Drive, 3400 Merrill Ave, 530 N. 32nd Avenue, 4711 Edgewood Boulevard, and 225 Windtree Drive. Advance tickets are on sale at the Marathon County UW-Extension, 212 River Drive. Suite 3, Wausau. Office hours are 8 a.m. – 4:30 p.m., or can be purchased at any of the gardens the days of the Walk.
