Tornado Recovery Celebration

Several Merrill community partners are joining together to host a Tornado Recovery Celebration on Thursday, April 26 at 6:30 p.m. in the Merrill High School Auditorium. Designed as an event to say thank you to the community for coming together and helping those affected by the April 10, 2011 tornado, the recovery celebration will feature music from the Merrill Vocal Jay’s, vocalist Jim Bjorkland and the debut of a video on the progress and combined effort to help those in the recovery process. Individuals and businesses affected by the tornado will also be speaking to express their gratitude. The American Red Cross will also have information on how to be prepared for an emergency.
