Treehaven Tromp Snowshoe Race

A new regional snowshoe race in Wisconsin, the “Treehaven Tromp,” is scheduled for Feb. 11, at UWSP-Treehaven, about nine miles east of Tomahawk at W2540 Pickerel Creek Ave. The “Tromp”, a 5k and 10k snowshoe fun run and race, is part of the Braveheart Snowshoe Racing Series and a 2011-2012 United States Snowshoe Association Regional Qualifying Event. To race as a USSSA Qualifier, complete the USSSA membership form ahead of the event or complete the membership form at the event. Race registration may be completed online: (www.tandhtiming.com) A short “kids” race will be run after the adult races are completed. Cost: $35 includes T-shirt, awards and chili luncheon.
