Tomahawk Women’s Civic Club Fashion Show

This year’s Tomahawk Women’s Civic Club Fashion Show to be held Monday, Dec. 5 at Grace Lutheran Church will be themed “Discover Tomahawk’s Treasures” to encourage residents to “shop local” this holiday season. Tickets are $8 in advance and are available at Silver Threads Boutique, Twice as Nice and the Tomahawk Area Chamber of Commerce in downtown Tomahawk. Tickets are available the day of the event at the door for $10. On Dec. 5, the door opens at 6:30 p.m. and the style show begins at 7 p.m. Businesses to be showcased in Discover Tomahawk Treasures are Silver Threads Boutique, Twice as Nice, Family Dollar, Standard Mercantile, Ben Franklin, Erv’s Sales & Service, Lincoln County Cycles and Oak Ridge Embroidery & Gifts. All proceeds raised from the event go back into the community. The event raises funds through ticket sales as well as through approximately 15 themed baskets which are raffled during the event.
