Merrill High School Holiday Concert

The MHS Music Department will present its annual Holiday Concert on Sunday, Dec. 4 at 2 p.m. in the MHS Auditorium. The concert will consist of performances by the Treble Choir, Concert Choir, and Vocal Jayz. Additionally - for the concluding portion of the program - the MHS Choirs will again join forces with any and all singers from the Merrill area to sing several choruses from Handel’s Messiah. Parents, alumni, and community members who enjoy singing are all invited to be a part of this special event. The dress rehearsal will be in the MHS Auditorium on Saturday, Dec. 3 from 10-11 a.m. Scores will be provided. The group will perform 4 choruses with chamber orchestra accompaniment. They are: “And The Glory of the Lord,” “For Unto Us a Child Is Born,” “Glory to God” and “Hallelujah.” Rehearsals are also scheduled for Nov. 21 and 28 from 6-7 p.m. in the High School Choir Room for those who would like some advance preparation. This is a wonderful opportunity to begin your Christmas Season on a festive note.
