Sally Pfund Memorial 5K Run/Walk and Picnic

You are encouraged to attend The Sally Pfund Memorial 5K Run/Walk and Picnic. This is a benefit in memory of Merrill teacher and varsity volleyball coach, Sally Pfund. She passed away, mid-season in the fall of 2009, at the age of 49. The proceeds from the 5K Run/Walk and Picnic will go the Sally Pfund Memorial Scholarship Fund. Those who are interested can register online at active.com or just show up at Riverside Park in Merrill. Onsite registration opens at 10:30 a.m. the morning of the Run/Walk and Picnic. The cost is $35.00 per person, picnic only $10.00. The Run/Walk will begin at noon with the picnic and prizes to follow. There are also a variety of raffles available. This year’s raffle grand prize is an iPad2 valued at $630; the second large raffle prize is a 32” flat screen TV.
