A 51-year old Gleason man was injured on Monday morning while working on a tractor in the Town of Schley.
Russell Ryan knelt down in front of the tractor and was trying to diagnose what was wrong with it while working off of Potato Lane, when a second male turned the front wheels of the tractor pinning Ryan’s head for a short time.
The Town of Russell Fire Department and First Responders along with deputies and Merrill EMS responded to the scene. Ryan was transported directly from the scene to Aspirus Wausau Hospital by the MedEvac helicopter. He was later treated and released from the hospital.
