Lincoln County Highway Commissioner Randy Scholz was able to persuade state officials to install a stop sign at the on ramp from Hwy 64. This measure greatly assisted in keep the southbound traffic moving.
According to Scholz, the contractor should be finished with the work the first part of this week and the entire highway will be open to normal traffic in time for the holiday weekend.
