Merrill High School girls’ basketball will again be having their Pink Zone night when they take on the Red Robins from Antigo this Friday.
The freshman and junior varsity games will start at 5:45 p.m. followed by the varsity at 7:30 p.m.
The purpose of the Pink Zone is to raise money for Breast Cancer Awareness. The team will donate all proceeds to the Kay Yow Cancer Fund. They raised over $750 last season and hope to increase that amount this year.
To help raise money that night there will be a silent auction, 50-50 raffle with proceeds going toward the donation to Breast Cancer Awareness, and a half-time activity for kids.
"Please come to pack the fieldhouse to support Breast Cancer Awareness and your Merrill Bluejay Girl’s Basketball team. And don’t forget to wear PINK," said head coach Melissa Yuska.
