Skipper's adds new parking area
Skipper's Restaurant, 812 E. First St., has added a parking lot behind the restaurant with space for eight vehicles. The new parking area is meant to give customers another option besides to on-street parking in front of the restaurant.
"Skipper's has needed this for a lot of years," said owner Rick Scott. "Customers love it."
A rear entrance is available for customers who park in back. A new back door that leads directly into the dining room will be installed in the spring, Scott said.
