InterFlex rewards employees for two years accident free
InterFlex Group of Merrill has made it 2 years (730 days) without a lost time accident - quite an accomplishment for a production environment. To reward the employees, the managers decided to prepare a steak meal for all 87 employees. What they had not planned, was the record low temperatures. The cookout was done on Tuesday and Wednesday, Jan.22 and Jan. 23, with temps in the minus 15 degrees and wind chill factor at a minus 40 degrees. In order to accommodate all the associates, the meal was prepared at five different times, including a 1 a.m. Wednesday morning feed.
