Books are sorted and arranged by category, making it easier to find your favorites.
The Friends of T.B. Scott Library’s book sale committee knows how packed Crazy Daze Thursday will be, and that many book lovers - especially the littlest ones - will be busy dancing, shopping and having all kinds of fun.
Therefore, this year’s Crazy Daze book sale will be really crazy - it will run for two big days - on Thursday and Friday Aug. 14 and 15. On both days, the sale begins when the library opens at 9:30 a.m., and ends at 5 p.m.
The main sale is in the library’s Community Room, so come on in and beat the summer heat. However, if the weather’s nice, there might be shopping for you on the library lawn too.
This year’s Crazy Daze book sale is also more crazy by focusing on specific kinds of materials to help you find great buys for end of summer fun.
First, children’s books for all ages will be featured. They’ll be spread throughout the room so you and the little ones can have fun browsing. New this year, kids’ height tables will be set up so little readers can more easily pick out their favorites.
Second, come shop for audiovisual materials including audiobooks, software, music CDs and movies in VHS and DVD formats.
Third, relax your eyes by perusing our large print books, mostly fiction. There are also some small framed art prints.
Finally, you’ll find a great deal on “grab bags” of paperbacks, mostly romances. Of course, as always, you’re welcome to shop for paperbacks in the library at the kiosk in the library atrium.
