Merrill’s roundabout will be getting a beauty treatment this week, courtesy of the Master Gardener class and Park City Gardens. The city last week approved a request from the groups to plant and maintain perennials and annuals in the roundabout.
Dirt work began Tuesday and planting is anticipated for later this week. The current Master Gardener class, held through Lincoln County UW-Extension, is planting the roundabout as a class project.
One of the class members, Lynn Zentner, is also on the Park City Gardens board. “I knew this was a project (Park City Gardens) wanted to get accomplished,” she said. “It was time.”
