1:41 a.m.- An off duty deputy observed a vehicle driving recklessly. The vehicle was not stopping at stop signs, was speeding, and was leaving the roadway at times. A marked squad car intercepted and stopped the vehicle. The driver was cited for disorderly conduct with a motor vehicle.
6:37 p.m.- An officer responded to a theft complaint. The caller had their rear license plate stolen off of their vehicle. Investigation is ongoing.
8:39 a.m.- An officer responded to the Probation and Parole office to take a male party into custody for a probation violation. The male was booked into the Lincoln County jail.
4:44 p.m.- An officer took a complaint of a domestic incident. An interview and statement was obtained from the victim and the investigation continues.
1:33 p.m.- Officer responded to the 600 block of South Center Avenue to take an individual into custody that had an active warrant for their arrest through the Wisconsin Department of Corrections. The female subject was taken into custody and transported to the jail.
Officers took a report of vandalism done to the shelter at Riverside Park sometime over night. The investigation is ongoing.
2:54 a.m.- An officer conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle for having suspended registration. The driver was cited for the suspended registration and operating after suspension of driver’s license. During a search of the vehicle, officers located items of drug paraphernalia. The driver was arrested for possession of drug paraphernalia, unlawful possession of a prescription medication and bail jumping and booked into the jail.
5:21 a.m.- An officer on routine patrol located a vehicle that had been reported stolen earlier in a different jurisdiction. The vehicle was towed to the Merrill Police Department at the request of the agency handling the investigation. Merrill Police Department is assisting the other agency with the investigation and identification of suspects.
1:24 p.m.- Officers took a report of a vehicle that was stolen in the city of Merrill. The vehicle was believed to have been stolen sometime during the course of the morning. The investigation is ongoing with possible leads and suspects being pursued.
3:56 p.m.- Officers took a report of a burglary that occurred in the 100 block of North Prospect Street. Several items were taken from the residence. A suspect has been identified and the officer is conducting further follow up.
5:51 p.m.- An officer conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle for an expired registration. The officer observed signs indicative of drug impairment. The driver was placed through roadside field sobriety tests. Based on those tests the female subject was taken into custody for operating while under the influence 1st offense drug related. She was later released to a responsible party.
9:59 a.m.- An officer investigated a complaint regarding numerous thefts at a business that were committed by the same person. The suspect was identified and charged with three counts of Retail Theft.
11:36 p.m.- Officers responded to a business for a male who was yelling and making threatening comments to a person there. The male was located and was arrested for Disorderly Conduct, two counts of Bail Jumping as well as two outstanding warrants.
7:39 a.m.- An officer investigated a Burglary in the 900 block of East 7th Street. The investigation is ongoing.
8:20 p.m.- Officers stopped a vehicle after seeing a male known to have a warrant for his arrest. The male was arrested for the warrant. The male was also cited for Possession of Marijuana. The other occupant of the vehicle was arrested for a Probation Violation.
6:57 a.m.- An officer responded to a Disorderly Conduct complaint in the 1900 block
