In light of the recent vandalism spree at Merrill Memorial Park Cemetery, Merrill natives and small business owners Lora Bladow of RE/MAX Excel and Zach Kubichek of Sawmill Brewing Company, have teamed up to host a unique community event to raise funds to assist in the restoration of the cemetery.
They invite the community to join them on Wednesday, Aug. 29, for “Yoga Under The Stars.” With your donation of $12 you’ll receive an hour of professionally guided yoga led by Cheri Thom, on the front lawn of Sawmill Brewing Company located at 1110 E. 10th St, Merrill, and a free pint of your favorite brew.
The event runs from 7:45–9 p.m. All ages and abilities are encouraged to come try something new in a fun environment with the added bonus of doing something great for your community. Bring your own mat or blanket and a group of friends and enjoy a relaxing evening under the stars. All donations will be directed to the Merrill Memorial Cemetery Vandalism Fund.
