What a way to cap off your summer: Vacation Bible School! Bible stories, games, treats, crafts, songs, skits and lunch all squeezed into one action-packed day in the park. The date is Saturday, Aug. 25. The place is Ott’s Park. Ages 3-5 are invited to participate from 9 a.m. through noon; ages 6-11 from 9 a.m.-2 p.m. Lunch is provided for all ages. Join Our Saviour’s kids and staff for tons of fun while learning about “God’s Good Creation” and kids’ role in keeping it that way. No pre-registration is required. Bring a friend and an item for the food pantry.
On the following day — Sunday, Aug. 26 — outdoor worship will be held at Ott’s Park at 10 a.m. It will be a youth-centered, guitar-filled worship service followed by a potluck picnic. Everyone is invited.
In case of rain, activities will be held at Our Saviour’s Lutheran Church 300 Logan St.
