MHS Senior Ivan DeBroux enjoyed perhaps the biggest performance of his high school hockey career on Jan. 30 at Chequamegon. Down 2-1 to the Screaming Eagles in the third period, DeBroux came through in the clutch with a goal to tie the game late in the third and another score in OT for the big win.
A four-year varsity hockey starter at the wing position, Ivan is also a Link leader on the MHS Link Crew.
In his free time, Ivan enjoys spending time with family and friends in the outdoors; hunting, fishing and skiing.
Son of Ben and Karie Debroux of Wausau, Ivan currently maintains a 3.0 GPA.
Following graduation this spring, Ivan plans to attend Northcentral Technical College’s Architectural Design program and eventually transfer to a 4-year university and either continue his study of Architectural Design or major in Architectural Engineering.
