Each year the Holy Cross Sisters award FAME (Formation and Ministry Enablement) Grants as part of Catholic Schools Week. The schools have been served by the Holy Cross Sisters, taught the sisters, or have a connection with the associates.
This year seven schools were on the list for the sisters to vote for their top three. Those chosen to receive $1,000 grants were St. Francis Xavier Catholic School, Merrill; St. Benedict the Moor School, New Orleans, LA; and Our Lady of the Lake Catholic School, Ashland.
