On Jan. 21, the Merrill Youth Hockey Squirt team came home champions from the 2018 Antigo Squirt Tournament. They made a clean sweep winning every game all weekend.
Goalie Max Seeger allowed one goal in the championship game, beating DePere 9-1. The team represented Merrill very well with Ryker winning fastest skater and Max winning fastest goalie in the skills competition. Ryker also received a hattrick and Alex received a playmaker during the tournament.
