Linda F. Nehrbass, age 61, of Merrill, died Saturday, December 30, 2017, at her son’s home, under the care of her loving family and hospice services.
Linda was born September 23, 1956, in Cedar Town, Georgia, daughter of the late Nathan and Evelyn Stroup. Linda met Neil Nehrbass while he was working in Georgia for a military contractor. They were married in Georgia, and the marriage ended with his death on November 14, 2014. Linda was a homemaker, raising her family, and also assisted Neil with their farms in the Town of Corning. She enjoyed listening to both Christian and country music, cooking, playing cards, and spending time with her many grandchildren.
Linda is survived by her two daughters, Ashley (Nate) Conner and Kay (Lee) Broadrick both of Merrill; five sons, Randy (Tawny) Anderson of Merrill, Tom Anderson (Pam Henderson) of Irma, and Neil Nehrbass, Jr., Dan (Mindy) Nehrbass and Andy (Kim) Nehrbass all of Merrill; twenty grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; and two sisters, Mary Reed and Sara Forrister both of Georgia. Linda was preceded in death by her husband, Neil Nehrbass; her parents; an infant son, Timothy Nehrbass; and two siblings, Carol and Randy.
A celebration of Linda’s life will be held on Saturday, January 13, 2018, from 1-4 PM, at Park City Baptist Church, 216 Grand Avenue, Merrill. The Taylor-Stine Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Merrill, is assisting the family. Online condolences may be made at www.taylorstinefuneralhome.com.
