Youth are invited to showcase their communication skills and share their knowledge in four styles of communication: Speaking, Puppetry, Demonstrations and Illustrated Talks. As a pre-Lincoln County Fair event, the Communication Contest is open to all youth members of recognized youth organizations in Lincoln County between kindergarten and 13th grade (one year out of high school).
This year’s Communication Contest information is now available on the Lincoln County University of Wisconsin-Extenson website at http://lincoln.uwex.edu/, click on 4-H Youth Development, then 4-H Community Club Program and then Activities. The 2017 Communication Contest will be held on Feb. 10, 2018 at 9 a.m. at the Lincoln County Service Center. Maxine and Peter Schuetze have volunteered to coordinate the event. Registrations are due by Monday, Jan. 29, to the UW-Extension office at 801 N. Sales St., Suite 101 in Merrill.
