A 36-year-old Tomahawk man was arrested Monday evening on a warrant charge. While checking on a stranded motorist, a check on the driver showed he was wanted by the Oneida County Sheriff for contempt of court.

A 29-year-old Tomahawk man was arrested Monday evening on a warrant charge after turning himself into the Lincoln County Jail. A check showed he had a felony warrant through the Wisconsin Department of Corrections for violating terms of his probation.

A 39-year-old Tomahawk man was arrested Tuesday evening on a warrant charge. During a traffic stop, a check showed the driver was wanted by the Pepin County Sheriff for contempt of court.

A 20-year-old Tomahawk man was arrested Wednesday afternoon on a warrant charge after turning himself into the Lincoln County Jail. A check showed a warrant through the Lincoln County Courts for possession of marijuana.

A 23-year-old Merrill man was arrested Thursday morning on a warrant charge. Deputies checked an address in the Town of Merrill after the Wisconsin Department of Corrections received information that a wanted person was there.

A 16-year-old Merrill youth will be referred to juvenile authorities after a traffic stop led to drugs. A deputy stopped the vehicle after he noted equipment issues and the driver not wearing his seatbelt. Deputies noted tobacco in the vehicle and later found a scale and marijuana residue.

A 21-year-old Merrill man was arrested late Friday night on a warrant charge along with a drug charge after a traffic stop in the Town of Rock Falls. Just before 11 p.m., a deputy stopped a vehicle for speeding. A check on the driver showed he was wanted by the Wisconsin Department of Corrections for violating terms of his probation. When the man was taken into custody deputies located marijuana resulting in additional charges.

Only two people reported striking deer this past week in Lincoln County.
