Merrill police reports

December 13
11:27 a.m.- Officers responded to a juvenile out of control. The juvenile had grabbed a shower curtain rod and a ceramic plate. The juvenile was told to drop both items, which he did, causing the plate to break. No staff members were injured in the incident. The school resource officer is handling the case.

December 15
9:27 p.m.- An officer on patrol observed a male subject exit a vehicle in the 200 block of East First Street whom the officer knew had an active warrant for his arrest. The male subject took off and was eventually located a couple blocks away and was taken into custody for the
probation warrant. He was transported to the jail.
10:53 p.m.- Officers responded to a report of a domestic disturbance that was occurring in the 1200 block of West Main Street. Officers spoke with all parties involved and eventually took a female subject into custody for domestic battery and domestic disorderly conduct. The female also had an additional count of disorderly conduct added for her actions outside of the residence once she was taken into custody.

December 16
9:25 a.m.- A male was arrested for a probation violation at the request of Probation & Parole.
10:26 a.m.- A male was arrested for a probation violation at the request of Probation & Parole.
12:01 p.m.- A caller reported seeing a male juvenile with a handgun at a residence and he had possibly pointed it out of a window. Contact was made with the juvenile’s mother and she acknowledged her son had an air-soft handgun matching the description provided. She agreed to ensure he was not pointing it out of any windows or at anybody else.

December 17
9:05 p.m.- Officers responded to a domestic incident. After an investigation, the female involved was arrested for domestic disorderly conduct.
