A local portrait photography studio will be offering studio sessions in exchange for donations of frozen turkeys.
Phil Ziesemer Photography Ltd. of Merrill, will provide portrait sessions and donate the turkeys to the local food pantry, for distribution during the upcoming holidays.
The offer will run through the month of November and up to Dec. 15. Persons or families interested in having a portrait made in time for the holidays, only have to bring a frozen turkey to the studio as payment for the session. The studio will then deliver the bird to the food pantry in the name of the donor.
“We have run this promotion for several years and it’s been a very popular way to help the food pantry provide dinners to our neighbors that need a little extra help,” said Phil Ziesemer, photographer, and co-owner of the studio.
“It really is a win for everyone,” he added, “our customers get to help the community and receive a full portrait session in return.”
The studio is open Monday through Friday 9:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Saturday mornings 9:30 a.m. till noon. Interested persons should call 715-536-4540 for an appointment.
