Lois A. Pavlovich

Lois A. Pavlovich, age 67, died unexpectedly on Tuesday, October 25, 2016 at Aspirus Wausau Hospital.  She was born on September 2, 1949 to the late Vernon and Anna Marie (Covelli) Wells in Kenosha, WI.  Lois married the late Richard Pavlovich Sr. on August 6, 1983 in Minocqua, WI.  He preceded her in death in 2009. Lois worked as a certified nursing assistant up until the time that she was unable to work.

In her younger years, Lois enjoyed deer hunting and summer fishing – it didn’t matter if it was from a boat or from the shore.  She enjoyed playing bingo and taking the occasional trip to the casino.  Lois also enjoyed spending time on Facebook, whether it was chatting with friends or playing the online games.  She liked spending time with the family cat, “Kloey”.  Above all, family was of the utmost importance in her life.  She was always very family-oriented.  Lois cherished the time she was able to spend with her grandchildren.  She was a sweet, loving and caring woman that had a hysterical sense of humor!  Lois was a very active member at the Pathway Fellowship Church in Merrill.  She will be sadly missed.

Lois is survived by her daughters:  Jennifer (Andrew) Marvin of Merrill and Paula Pavlovich of Wausau, step-daughter:  Laura (Tom) Moravec of Harshaw, step-son:  Richard (Brenda) Pavlovich Jr. of Illinois, 8 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren, brothers:  Phillip (Charlotte) Wells, Arnie (Ruth) Wells, Scott (Michelle) Wells and Chuck (Sue) Wells, sisters:  Sherry (Gary) Helgeson, Cindy Escue and Gail Sweeney, sister-in-law:  Carol Pavlovich and numerous nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her parents:  Vernon and Anna Marie (Covelli) Wells and her husband:  Richard Pavlovich Sr.

A Celebration of Life for Lois will be held on Saturday, October 29, 2016 from 12 PM to 2 PM with a service immediately following at 2PM to 3PM at Pathway Fellowship, N1769 Hwy 17, Merrill.  There will be a meal immediately following at St. Stephens United Church of Christ, 903 East 2nd Street, Merrill.
