It was yet another very successful meet for the Hatchet swimmers, as they out-swam Antigo with a final meet score of 112 team points. Antigo mustered 52 team points.
In the girls 200 SC meter relay, the Tomahawk A-team consisting of Katy Volz, Kirstin Marcks, Jackie Elliott and Kylee Theiler took first with a team time of 2:23.61.
Rachel Dallman took a wide first place in the 200 SC meter freestyle with a time of 2:22.62, with Megan Marcks coming in second at 2:30.27 (she herself was over six seconds faster than the Antigo third-placer). In the 200 SC meter IM, Shelby Benaszeski took second with a time of 2:58.43.
In the 50 SC meter relay, Theiler placed first with a time of 29.78 seconds, just edging out fellow Hatchet swimmer Kaylie Svacina who placed second with a time of 30.46 seconds. Viana Johnson placed fifth with a time of 37.19 seconds.
Benaszeski placed first in the 100 SC meter butterfly with a time of 1:29.22 and Savanah Ristau placed just under her in second with a time of 1:30.08. In the 100 SC meter freestyle, Theiler took first with a time of 1:05.8 and Megan Marcks second with 1:07.87 and Kirstin Marcks third with 1:13.29.
In the 400 SC meter freestyle, Dallman took second with a time of 5:02.2 and Volz took third with a time of 5:19.93. Volz then placed first in the 100 SC meter backstroke with a time of 1:16.27, followed by Svacina in second with a time of 1:17.84. Kersten Zehner placed third with a time of 1:30.7
Kirstin Marcks placed first in the 100 SC meter breaststroke with a time of 1:25.84. Vianna Johnson placed fourth with a time of 1:44.25 and Allyso Carstensen placed fifth with a time of 1:45.29.
The Tomahawk A-Team consisting of Kirstin & Megan Marcks, Benaszeski and Elliott placed first in the 200 SC meter freestyle relay with a team time of 2:06.77. Not far behing was the B-Team consisting of Carstensen, Dallman, Ristau and Theiler who placed second with a team time of 2:08.64.
Lastly, in the 400 SC meter freestyle relay, the A-team consisting of Megan Marcks, Benaszeski, Dallman and Volz placed first with a team time of 4:28.19. The B-team consisting of Svacina, Zehner, Ristau and Annie Begotka placed third with a team time of 5:20.48.
