Kyle Anthony Schumacher, age 25, passed away peacefully on Thursday, May 19, 2016 at his residence in Merrill. Kyle was born on December 3, 1990 to Gerald and Monika (Gronau) Schumacher in Fort Steward, GA. He attended and graduated from Merrill High School.
Kyle most recently worked at Weinbrenner Shoe Factory doing general labor. He was an outdoor enthusiast, and enjoyed hunting and fishing. He also was an avid football fan, and loved watching his North Carolina Panthers and Green Bay Packers. Kyle also had other interests such as guns, music and reading. He loved hanging out and relaxing with family and friends. He will be sadly missed.
Kyle is survived by his parents: Gerald and Monika Schumacher, Merrill, sister: Veronika Schumacher (Simon Bates), Eau Claire, grandparents: Bernd and Dietlinde Gronau, Germany, uncles: Michael Gronau, Germany, Ronnie (Margie) Schumacher, Minnesota and Emil (Norma) Schumacher, Missouri, aunts: Beate (Everett) Geercy, Colorado and Sherry (Bill) Gronke, Merrill, niece: Elaina Barker and numerous cousins and friends.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents: Jerry and Ferroll Schumacher and a cousin.
A Celebration of Life for Kyle will be held on Thursday, May 26, 2016 from 4pm – 7:30pm at Waid Funeral Home. Waid Funeral Home of Merrill is assisting the family with arrangements. Online condolences may be made at www.waidfuneral.com.
