Hatchet golf traveled to Timber Ridge Golf Club on Thursday (May 12) to compete in a GNC meet. Medford placed first at the meet with the lowest team score of 341. Other team scores were: Antigo (343), Rhinelander (348), Tomahawk (364), Northland Pines (374), Lakeland (387) and Mosinee-no team score.
Hatchet scorers include Mike Lodholz (6th) with 85, Andy Tessmer with 90, Michelle Lodholz with 94 and Andrew Cook with 95.
“We played poorly on front nine and turned it around on the back,” comments head coach Garth Gerstenberger. “That is unusual for Timber Ridge as the back nine plays tougher than the front. Andy and Mike both did a nice job of putting the ball in the fairway.”
Hatchet golf will have their next GNC meet on Monday, May 16 at 3:00 p.m. at Black River Golf Course in Medford.
