After a tough loss to Stevens Point Pacelli on Thursday, the Tomahawk boys hockey team bounced back with a 7-0 triumph over Chequamegon.
“These boys really showed what they are capable of as a team tonight!” THS coach Chris Bembinster said. “That was by far the most complete game of the season. The passing display they put on tonight was awesome. I hope we can ride this wave of confidence into our last few games and then the playoffs!”
The Hatchets ripped off three goals in each of the first two periods to take a commanding 6-0 lead.
In the opening frame, Jakob Panzer (A- Brett Gerber, Steven Renn), Kole Woodall (A- Hunter Jones) and Jordan Tomaszewski (A- Kaleb Wegner, Panzer) put THS on the board.
