Prebeg named Youth Optimist of the Month

Allison Prebeg was nominated by Mr. Greg Eichelkraut and chosen to be the October Youth Optimist. Mr. Eichelkraut stated, “Alli is a hard-working, driven individual propelling her to advanced course work beyond that of most high school students. Such course work has taken her into internships and jobs in the health care profession, including becoming a Certified Nursing Assistant. Her positive outlook has led her into leadership positions as she has been named captain of the Tennis Team.”
Alli currently holds a 3.778 GPA, has a class rank of 25 and will have 20+ college credits at graduation. She has taken such courses as AP Language & Comp, AP US Government, Medical Terminology, English 101 & 102 and Psychology. She currently has most of her high school credits and is taking general education credits at the University of Wisconsin Marathon County. She earlier took a C.N.A. class and passed it with a high A grade. Alli was the tennis team captain for JV and Varsity, participated in Link Crew and has attended related leadership conferences.
When not in school, Alli has volunteered through the Optimist Club with her mother, was part of Octagon Club, Bowled for Kids’ Sake and has worked with Alzheimer/dementia patients as a C.N.A. She also is an aide to the school nurse at both the high school and middle school.
After graduation Alli plans to attend UWGB and Belling to become a nurse. She is the daughter of Meredith and Dan Prebeg.
