The Community Warming Center, now in its second year, was the recipient of a freewill offering from a Merrill Ministerium ecumenical Thanksgiving Service held at Journey Church on Sunday, Nov. 22. The Merrill Ministerium is a group of Christian churches and organizations united in loving God and loving others through Jesus.
Participating churches and their members raised a total of $707.47 for the Community Warming Center. Almost 200 people attended this special Thanksgiving service.
