The River District Development Foundation is honored to have received the new Chamber of Commerce award for Not-for-Profit of the Year 2015 for the River Bend Trail. We are thankful for the many dedicated volunteers who have given countless hours of their time to work on the development of the trail from fund raising to the actual construction.
The board is continuing to work on the part of the trail that is open. Amenities will be added such as lighting, benches and historical signs. These items can be purchased as memorials or to honor individuals. Plans are also underway for the development of new sections of the trail to be added as soon as funding becomes available.
