Daniel L. Brown, formerly of Merrill, currently residing in Weston, died Friday, October 23, 2015, at UW Hospital-Madison after a lengthy illness.
Dan was born January 7, 1960, in Merrill, son of the late Jack and Donna (Klade) Brown. Dan had been employed with Lange Enterprises as a bus driver. He enjoyed working on his hobby farm, watching the Green Bay Packers, hunting and fishing, and driving his Ford pickup truck. But most of all, Dan enjoyed the time he spent with his two grandchildren.
Survivors include his daughters, Bobbie (Robert) Kienbaum of Weston and Danielle (fiancé, Craig LaBarge) of Merrill; two grandchildren, Noah and Nadia; and his siblings, Cindy (Paul) Folta and Rick (Cheryl) Brown both of Merrill; and his sister in law, Peg Brown of Merrill. Besides his parents, Dan is preceded in death by his brother, Jeff Brown; and two nieces, Mandy and Heidi Brown.
Dan’s funeral will begin at 10:00 AM Saturday, October 31, 2015, at the Taylor-Stine Funeral Home, Merrill. The Rev. Mark Laatsch will officiate. Burial will follow in Merrill Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4-7 PM Friday and after 9:00 AM Saturday at the funeral home.
