To the Editor:
I am writing this letter to give ATV, UTV and snowmobile enthusiasts an update on the progress of getting the signage up to mark the trails through the city of Merrill. As you may have noticed, the signs are starting to go up in the city. Hopefully the rest of the signs will go up in the next few weeks.
I would like to take this opportunity to thank the following groups and individuals for your financial support to make the routes a reality. Harrison Hills ATV Club and Spirit Valley Riders ATV Club, $500 each. Thank you for your very generous donation. Plautz’s Pub is the first Merrill business to donate. I am sure there are other businesses that would like to donate. Also thank you to the following individuals for your donation: James Bloechl, Sharon Marzynski, Mark Cagle, Dan Sukow and Dave Sukow. It is still not too late to donate for the trail signage. Just drop your donation off at Merrill City Hall and indicate that it is for the trail signs.
