Two killed in cycle crash near Tomahawk

On Friday, Sept. 18 at approximately 9 p.m. the Lincoln County 911 dispatch center received a report of a two-motorcycle crash on Cty. A east of Hwy. 51 in the town of King.
Preliminary indications are that an eastbound motocycle operated by Robert J. Dobbs, 67, of Richland Center had crossed the centerline and struck a westbound motorcycle occupied by Mark N. Coolidge, 59, of Baraboo.
Dobbs and his wife, Josephine M. Dobbs, 68, a passenger on the motorcycle, were transported to Sacred Heart Hospital in Tomahawk where they were later pronounced dead. Coolidge and his passenger, Roxanne M. Johnson, 52, of Plover, sustained significant injuries and were initially transported to Sacred Heart Hospital in Tomahawk and later transferred to Aspirus Hospital in Wausau.
As of early Monday morning, Coolidge was in fair condition and Johnson in good condition, both at Aspirus Wausau Hospital.
