Comunidad Hispana presents authentic Mexican experience

Comunidad Hispana will present its second annual fund raiser event at Normal Park on Saturday, Sept. 19. The event will be an “Independence Shout” in celebration of Mexico’s Independence Day.
Running from 4-10 p.m., the event will feature authentic Mexican food, a Mariachi band, Mexican dances and folklore, pinatas, a 50/50 raffle and silent auctions.
The Comunidad Hispana event will be held after the Pork in the Park ribfest, which begins at noon at the MARC.
The Green Bay based Mariachi band “Neuvo Amanacer” will perform traditional Mexican music, while dressed in authentic Mexican costumes.
