Christine (Tina) A. Kluckman, age 67, went to her heavenly home on Saturday, July 18, 2015 at Pine Crest Nursing Home in Merrill while surrounded by her loving family and under the care of Ministry Home Care Hospice. Tina courageously battled cancer during her last 5 years and never complained about her illness.
Tina was born on June 23, 1948 in Merrill to the late Dale & Rosalie (Zahn) Conant. She attended Merrill High School, and eventually married Lavern Kluckman, who has preceded her in death. Tina spent the last 25 years with her partner, best friend and caregiver, David Woellner. Together, they operated the Round-Up Bar during that time and had made many good friends throughout the years.
David & Tina enjoyed their time at their cottage on Highway 107, along with their special dog, “Rusty”. They later moved to their “retirement home” on Grand Avenue in Merrill. Tina enjoyed many activities throughout her life and will be remembered for her joyful spirit and positive attitude. She also enjoyed spending time with her son, Rick and his family, her sisters, cooking, shopping on QVC, going to the casino and her many friends. Tina was an avid Green Bay Packer fan, especially her favorite #4, Brett Farve.
Tina is survived by her son; Rick (Cathie) Kluckman, her partner and love of her life; David Woellner, David’s sons; Dean (Heather) Woellner and Daniel Woellner, grandchildren; Lynnette and Heather Cavett, sisters; Judy Dalton and Joanne (Bill) Kolar, step-sisters; Gloria (John) Schenzel, Becky (Roger) Hinner, Debbie (Cris) Stadler-Gatko and Terry (Bill) Knorr, step-brothers; Jeff (Gail) Zahn and Randy (Rachel) Zahn; 3 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; Dale & Rosalie (Zahn) Conant, step-father; Walter Zahn, step-brother; Greg Zahn, nephew; Jesse Annis and her grandparents; Otto & Frannie Warner.
The family of Tina would like to thank Dr. Greg Gill, Dr Islam, Pine Crest Nursing Home, Ministry Home Care Hospice, St. Clare’s Hospital and all of her friends for expressing care and concern during this difficult time and for offering their help and comfort.
A Memorial Service for Tina will be held on Wednesday, July 22, 2015 at 7pm at Waid Funeral Home. Pastor Andy Perry will officiate. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 22, 2015 from 4pm-7pm, also at Waid Funeral Home. Inurnment will take place at Merrill Memorial Park at a later date.
