June 8
3:18 p.m.- A male was arrested and transported to the jail for a probation violation.
7:07 p.m.- Officers responded to an address in the 200 block of East 1st Street for a complaint. As a result, a 29-year-old male was arrested and charged with Physical Abuse to a Child after he allegedly kicked an 8-year-old child.
8:57 p.m.- Officers responded to a complaint of a male who had accidentally shot himself in the leg. The male was found to have a previous felony conviction, which prohibits the possession of a firearm. The male will be charged with Felon in Possession of a Firearm after he receives medical treatment for the injury.
June 9
11:30 a.m.- A caller reported a turtle in the roadway. An officer located a snapping turtle and was able to relocate it to a more appropriate habitat.
3:53 p.m.- A caller reported two men in a physical altercation. Investigation revealed the incident occurred between an uncle and nephew. The nephew was found to be the victim in the matter and he did not wish to pursue charges against the uncle. He described the incident as a minor altercation.
June 10
5:12 p.m.- Officers took a report of an altercation that took place between two male subjects. The suspect in this matter left the scene prior to officers arriving. The victim required sutures to close a laceration. The suspect was located the next morning and was taken into custody for substantial battery and disorderly conduct. He was also charged with possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia which was located on the suspect when he was arrested.
6:46 p.m.- Officers took a report of a youth that was causing a disturbance and punching walls at a residence. The parent had called earlier in the day to report the youth as a runaway. The youth was taken into custody and social services met with the youth. The youth was transported to secure detention and will be referred on charges of disorderly conduct.
June 11
2:49 p.m.- Officers were requested by probation and parole to take a male subject into custody for a probation violation. The male was taken into custody and transported to the jail.
3:16 p.m.- Officers were requested by probation and parole to take a male subject into custody for a probation violation. The male was taken into custody and transported to the jail.
