Jesse L. Callahan, age 48, of Merrill, died Monday, June 8, 2015, at Aspirus Wausau Hospital, surrounded by his family.
Jesse was born July 15, 1966, in Merrill, son of Jolene (Arndt) Callahan, Merrill, and the late Duard ‘Super’ Callahan. Jesse married Lucy Fruend on October 8, 1994. She survives. Jesse had been a heavy equipment operator with the Lincoln County Highway Department. He enjoyed deer hunting, shooting pool, racing cars, and the company of his pet dogs.
Survivors include his wife Lucy Callahan, Merrill; his mother, Jolene Callahan, Merrill; and many other relatives and friends.
A memorial service for Jesse will begin at 7:30 P.M. on Monday, June 15, 2015, at the Taylor-Stine Funeral Home, Merrill. The Rev. Joel Hoelter will officiate. Burial in Merrill Memorial Park will follow at a later date. The visitation will begin at 4:00 P.M. Monday at the funeral home. Taylor-Stine Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
