The Recreation Deputy reports the waterways of Lincoln County were very busy this holiday weekend. The deputy spent considerable time on the water this weekend checking on fisherman and recreation boaters. He noted the vast majority of boaters had no issues as they seemed prepared this year before they took to the water. If you are heading out on the water he reminds you to make sure your boat are registered, you have a working fire extinguisher on board, all your lights are working, and you can never have enough personal flotation devices.
