While on patrol Sunday evening, an officer discovered a vehicle stalled at the intersection of East Second and Hendricks Streets.
Upon approach of the vehicle, the officer discovered the male driver was semi-conscious and nude, except for a towel covering his mid section. Upon further investigation, the male was identified as Todd C. Kleinschmidt and was found to be under the influence of a controlled substance.
A large club with a brass head was also found concealed in Kleinschmidt’s vehicle.
According to officer notes, Kleinschmidt was able to answer and ask questions during contact with officers.
Following evaluation at Ministry-Good Samaritan Health Center, Kleinschmidt was cited for Operating while under the Influence-1st Offense and Carrying a Concealed Weapon. He was later released to a responsible party.
