Joyce C. Hass, age 76, of Merrill, died Saturday, April 25, 2015, at Good Samaritan Health Center, Merrill.
Joyce was born December 30, 1938, in Merrill, daughter of the late Everett and Wilma (Johnson) Holl. She married Bruce Hass on February 15, 1958, and he survives. Joyce was a homemaker. She was a member of St. Stephens United Church of Christ, Merrill. Joyce enjoyed the Packers, Brewers, Badgers, playing cards, cooking, and the occasional casino trip.
Survivors include her husband, Bruce Hass, Merrill; one daughter, Julie (Randy) Pierce, Hustisford, Wisconsin; two sons, Gary (Sandy) Hass, and Mike (Bridgette) Hass, both of Merrill; three grandchildren, Brett and Kayla Pierce of Hustisford, and Jacob Hass of Merrill; and her niece, Jo Ann (Tommie Annillo) Holl of Loxahatchee, Florida. Besides her parents, Joyce is preceded in death by her brother and sister in law, Jack and Elaine Holl.
The funeral will begin at 2:00 P.M. Wednesday, April 29, 2015, at St. Stephens United Church of Christ, Merrill. The Rev. Kyle Carnes will officiate. Burial will follow in Merrill Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4:00 P.M. until 7:00 P.M. Tuesday at the Taylor-Stine Funeral Home, and after 1:00 P.M. Wednesday at the church.
