The Merrill Bantams gave a great effort in the 4A state tournament held in Merrill on March 14-15. They captured their first two games before losing in the finals to Marinette/Menominee, Mich. “Another successful season comes to an end,” Coach Jeremy Leach said. “We lost the State Championship to a well-deserving team. Still, I couldn’t be prouder of the young men and women I had the privilege of coaching this year. Thank you to all the players, coaches, parents, and all other fans for letting me be a part of a wonderful season. One I will never forget.”
