Last Tuesday at 1:33 a.m., Merrill police receive a call from a woman who reported a male was pounding on her door. The initial call was quickly followed by a second caller reporting the man outside screaming.
The man appeared to be under the influence of stimulant drugs and was hallucinating, believing people were after him and a family member. The man admitted to using methamphetamine and having been awake for several days.
The man was medically evaluated. He will be summonsed to court for disorderly conduct and bail jumping.
