Two arrested in drug bust
On Tuesday, Feb. 3, officers of the Merrill Police Department and Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office executed a drug related search warrant at 610 E. First St. in the City of Merrill. The search yielded 564.7 grams (1.2 lbs) of marijuana, approximately 1 gram of cocaine, a plethora of drug paraphernalia, and further evidence of drug distribution. The residents, identified as James Tudor, 18, and Tabatha Roberts, 41, were taken into custody and are facing multiple charges.
Tudor faces charges of: Possession of Marijuana with intent to deliver, Maintaining a drug trafficking place, Possession of drug paraphernalia, Delivery of marijuana (enhancer of distribution to a minor), (enhancer) possession within 1000ft of multi-unit housing project.
Roberts faces charges of: Possession of Marijuana with intent to deliver, Maintaining a drug trafficking place, Possession of drug paraphernalia, Possession of cocaine, Possession of a schedule 4 drug, Unlawful possession of a prescription, (enhancer) possession within 1000ft of multi-unit housing project.
