A full moon hike on the River Bend and Thrivent Trail will be held Friday, Feb. 6, starting at 6:30 p.m. Meet at the corner of Polk and Stange streets (near the west side of Weinbrenner’s) to walk or snowshoe on Merrill’s two new trails.
Please bring flashlights, especially if it is cloudy. Those with snowshoes can hike the Thrivent Trail as well as the River Bend Trail. Snowshoe just the Thrivent Trail if you wish. Those without snowshoes can walk on the paved trail. Transportation back to your car will be available for those who choose to walk/snowshoe to the end of the trail (near the Center Ave. viaduct) but would like a ride back to your car.
